What VidLasso can and cannot do
VidLasso asks for read access when you connect. It asks for more only when you turn on a feature that needs it.
It can
- Read your videos, analytics and comments
- Post replies and apply title fixes only after you turn that on
- Disconnect any channel at any time; its data is then deleted
It never
- Deletes your videos, posts or comments
- Posts anything you did not approve or set a rule for
- Sells your data, uses it for ads, or trains AI models on it
VidLasso uses the official YouTube Data and YouTube Analytics APIs. Its use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. See our privacy policy.

Questions creators ask
Is VidLasso free?
Yes. VidLasso is in free early access: 150 credits a month and unlimited channels, with no card.
What does VidLasso access when I connect?
Read access only: your videos and posts, their numbers, and comments. Write access, such as posting replies or applying a title fix on YouTube, is asked for later and only when you turn that feature on. VidLasso never deletes anything on YouTube or Instagram.
Will it reply to comments without me?
Only if you turn on auto-reply and set the rules. A draft sends on its own only when it meets your confidence bar, and you have 5 minutes to stop it. Otherwise every reply waits for you to press Send.
Will VidLasso get me more views?
We do not promise views or rankings. VidLasso saves you time on replies, points out basics your titles and descriptions miss, and explains what changed when a video slips. What you make is still up to you.
What do I need to connect Instagram?
An Instagram professional account (Creator or Business) linked to a Facebook Page you manage. Instagram only lets apps read posts and comments for those accounts. Switching is free, and the app shows you the steps. During early access, add the username of each Instagram account you want to connect when you request access. We add each one as a tester, and you accept the invite in Instagram before you connect. See Connect Instagram.
What is a credit?
Credits pay for AI work and extra syncing. A reply draft is 1 credit, a drop explanation is 3. Reading your own data is free. If you run out, VidLasso stops before charging and tells you, so you never go below zero.
Can I use VidLasso from Claude?
Yes. Add VidLasso as a custom connector with the URL https://app.vidlasso.com/mcp and sign in. Assistants that cannot sign in can use a personal access token instead. See MCP setup.
Do you train AI on my content?
No. Your YouTube and Instagram data is used to run the features you turn on. It is not sold, not used for ads, and not used to train AI models.
How do I leave and remove my data?
Disconnect a channel or delete your account in the app at any time. We delete the related data within 30 days. The privacy policy has the details.
