VidLassoMCP for Claude and other assistants
VidLasso runs an MCP server, so Claude and other assistants that support remote MCP servers can work with your workspace. The assistant acts as you, in one workspace, with your role, your channels and your credits.

Connect with sign-in (OAuth)
Use this for Claude and any assistant that supports MCP sign-in.
- In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors, then Add custom connector.
- Paste
https://app.vidlasso.com/mcpas the URL and choose Connect. - Sign in to VidLasso if asked, pick the workspace on the consent page, and choose Allow.
- Ask something like "What happened on my channels today?"
Connected assistants are listed on your Profile page, where you can disconnect them.

Connect with a personal access token
Some assistants only take a URL and a token. For those, create a personal access token.
- In VidLasso, open Settings and find the MCP access tile.
- Give the token a name, choose when it expires (30 days, 90 days, 1 year or never) and its scope: Read only or Read and write.
- Copy the token. It starts with
vl_pat_and is shown only once. - In your assistant, set the server URL and send the token as a header:

Header: Authorization: Bearer vl_pat_...A token belongs to you and one workspace. You can have up to 20 active tokens per workspace and revoke any of them in the same tile; a revoked token stops working at once. Workspace owners can see and revoke every member's tokens. Treat a token like a password.
What the assistant can do
The assistant sees only the tools for pages you can see in VidLasso, so your list may be shorter than this one. Tools that cost credits use the same amounts as the web app. Tools marked confirm ask you to approve first, and nothing is sent or scheduled without that. A Read only token hides every tool marked Write.
